This card of cascading embossed butterflies was one of cards at the Coffee Club yesterday. No one had heat embossed before so a new technique for the ladies. Our little butterflies were from the Papilion Potpourri stamp set and were stamped in ink, heat embossed and punched out of velum. The SU velum is such a lovely quality it takes heat embossing beautifully. No warping or buckling and punch out very crisply. This is so effective with using stamps with delicate images such as these. More fun was had when the ladies embossed to discover we were using scented embossing powder, ours was vanilla and oh boy the room smelled divine haha! Never wanted to eat my cards before 
The scent will last a few weeks, more if stored in a bag which I always provide the ladies with to keep there cards in until they need to use them.
Through the window on this card we stamped a ‘view’ using the ‘My Friend’ stamp set. This was overlaid with a piece of window sheet, a great product for windows like this or on shaker frame cards and boxes. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners and cut from the matching framelits.
These Thursday morning’s are so refreshing, girlie chatting, drinking coffee (of course) and a little cake to keep us going.
